The Human Camera

Stephen Wiltshire has created several famous panoramas of iconic cities all around the world.

Starting with Tokyo in 2005, he has drawn Rome,Hong KongFrankfurtMadridDubai,JerusalemLondon and New York on giant canvasses.

I am just so amazed with this guy that he can draw panoramas of iconic cities. He's like a human camera! He once rode a helicopter around New York city and after 20 minutes, he went on to draw the city with just the picture of it in his mind. It's amazing how he can remember everything he saw, and this is not that easy, the details are very small and even I can't make it alive if I was tasked to draw something like this. It would take me forever haha. But really, what an amazing man. God has showered him with blessings and a talent. He is actually autistic and God gave him an amazing talent. I kept on repeating the word "amazing" ey? In the movie 'Zambizia' they say amazing as 'amazeng!', awesome right? Okay, back to Mr. Wiltshire, here is his biography:

Stephen Wiltshire is an artist who draws and paints detailed cityscapes. He has a particular talent for drawing lifelike, accurate representations of cities, sometimes after having only observed them briefly. He was awarded an MBE for services to the art world in 2006. He studied Fine Art at City & Guilds Art College. His work is popular all over the world, and is held in a number of important collections.

Stephen was born in LondonUnited Kingdom to West Indian parents on 24th April, 1974. As a child he was mute, and did not relate to other people. Aged three, he was diagnosed as autistic. He had no language and lived entirely in his own world.

At the age of five, Stephen was sent to Queensmill School in London, where it was noticed that the only pastime he enjoyed was drawing. It soon became apparent he communicated with the world through the language of drawing; first animals, then London buses, and finally buildings. These drawings show a masterful perspective, a whimsical line, and reveal a natural innate artistry.

He is now one of my inspirations. I really wanna pursue art. I just need some practice and maybe learn some techniques. God has given me this talent, so I'll make use of it. I really hope that I can develop my skills soon because I wanna make some art! art attack! hahaha. Anyway, have a nice and blessed day ahead. God loves you.
